Do I need to bring beach towels?

We provide beach towels in all the Beach Villas.

What other amenities or facilities do you provide in the rooms?

The Beach Villas are furnished with well designed furniture, air-conditioning, in room safe, telephone, refrigerator, tea & coffee making facilities, CD and cassette player, sun beds, hot and cold desalinated water shower, WC, twin wash basins with mirror, hairdryer, 230 DC shaver point, bathrobes and beach towels.

Do you provide TV in the rooms?

No, we do not provide TV in the room however we do have a TV in the Kandu Bar with satellite connections.

What type of food do you served in the restaurant?

We served buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner daily with the Mediterranean and International influence combine with the local cuisine. You will enjoy our different Theme Nights which includes fresh tropical fruits and delicious selections of sweets.

Do you have a dress code?

While we do not have a dress code on the island, we refrain our guests from entering the bar or restaurant in their swimwear and the law of the nation prohibits nudity. Smart casual is recommended in the bar and restaurant.

Carpeted with white soft sand, walking anywhere on the island is fun with no shoes except when you walk on the wooden decks and jetties on a sunny day.

Do you have any evening entertainment on the island?

Komandoo is a haven for a relaxing holiday. Keeping in line with this theme, the evenings' entertainment is purposefully programmed to be low key, light and enjoyable with the only exception being the disco evening once a week. This too depends on whether you like it or not. If you would rather have a quieter evening, which would obviously be reflected from the level of activity on the dance floor, the show ends.

Do you accept credit cards?

We accept Visa, Master Card and American Express. The maximum accepted per payment on Visa and Master Cards is US$1000.00 and on American Express it is US$1152.00. Please forward your cards to reception 24 hours prior to payment if the amount exceeds this limit.

Do you accept travellers cheques?

The resort charges a 1% exchange fee on travelers' cheques for payments and 3% for cash.

Do we need to bring cash?

You may need to carry some cash on excursions. US Dollars are generally accepted in the country. At the reception your money can be exchanged to US Dollars.

What kind of electrical sockets do you have in the rooms?

We have European standard electrical sockets in all our rooms.

Is it possible to have internet connections using a notebook in the rooms?

Yes, just plug in the telephone line and you will have the connections to your service provider. Please check with the Front Desk for the charges.

We also offer internet connection on our computer in the shop.

What about mobile phone coverage?

Most of the European GSM does work on the resort. However, for the comfort of all our guests, please refrain from using mobile phones in public areas such as the restaurant and bar. For more information on the roaming service and connections, please visit www.dhiraagu.com.mv.

Does the resort offer baby sitting facilities?

We don’t accept reservations for children below 12 years due to popular demand from our guests.
