Awards keep pouring in for Komandoo Maldives Resort!
August not only brought the TUI Environmental Champion Award, but also provided an opportunity for our chefs to show the Maldives and the world what’s cooking at one of the Maldives’ smallest resorts.
And exactly how well did it go?
Indika Roshan and Nalinda Prasad won silver medals and certificates in the live ‘dress the cake’ ‘ and ‘fruit carving’ categories respectively, and Ajay Gomes won not one, but two, gold medals (live lamb cooking and live beef cooking), and bronze for live seafood cooking, and three certificates.
We are extremely proud of our chefs who showcased their culinary talents at the recent Food & Hospitality Asia Maldives 2015 Exhibition and International Culinary Challenge that took place in Male’, and we can’t wait to try more of their tasty creations that they are crafting under the watchful eye of executive chef Shannon Batten.
