Spectacular marine life The sea around Komandoo was teaming with amazing sea creatures, many with fabulous bright colours.
Some will swim by when you’re sitting at the bar or walking the shoreline, but the snorkeling is a must (and the scuba diving if you’re up for it)!

Live reef where you can see many different fishes is around the island.
ROOMS: very secluded location in every type of room (beach or water villa). Cozy and bright, equipped with everything needed.
FOOD: excellent! Everything is very tasty, every day you can find something new in the main restaurant. Also there is another restaurant (Aqua), where you’ll find some Chef’s experiments. Two bars with excellent view, where you can try very good cocktails. One bar is perfect for sunset view.
LOCATION: 40min flight from Male. Far away from other hotels.
STAFF: so smiley, veeeery friendly and helpful. Champions are the family who create your perfect staying.

Paradise The best holiday by far I've ever had. Everything was perfect. My daughter and I visited for my 70th birthday and the holiday exceeded our expectations. We were looked after in every way and the uncrowded friendly atmosphere from staff and guests made our 2 weeks just incredible. Even the weather was perfect!

A little piece of paradise This was our first visit to Komandoo and certainly won’t be our last!
Not much can be added to the numerous glowing reviews of the island, which was recommended to us by friends. We had a fantastic time and immediately felt very welcome by all the Champions.
A special mention to Ahmed who looked after our room, Asitha who held an excellent cocktail making class and finally Lasantha who showed us how to carve vegetables! If you get a chance to attend this class, do so and ask Lasantha to show you photos of his carvings. It’s amazing!

Third visit This was our third visit to Komandoo and it will not be our last as we have already booked again for next year. If you want a relaxing holiday with idyllic surroundings and excellent food you need to look no further.

The perfect island paradise We had a fantastic holiday. It was everything we had hoped for. The champions were so friendly and helpful. We loved having an allocated waiter for our stay- Yousef and his helpers were so welcoming in the restaurant. The island was beautiful and so well looked after and clean. Everyone we spoke to had been to the island before, some people 12-20 times and we can see why. We very much hope to go back and wouldn’t consider any other islands in case they weren’t as perfect.

Great return visit to Komandoo This was the 7th stay in The Maldives for my wife and I but the first island repeat because Komandoo had ‘ticked all our boxes’ in 2014.

Another stay in paradise This was our 6th visit to Komandoo and we will be back. From the moment you step on the island you are totally relaxed and made to feel special. Nothing is too much trouble for the champions and their ability to remember your favourite drink and how you like your fish cooked makes you feel special. With good food, and a great choice of drinks the All inclusive package is ideal. The chance to see turtles and Manta Ray make this an idyllic place to be.

No critic. All was very nice, wonderful and for me, how in paradise. Komandoo any time. I hope, the islands still exist for a long time. And the coral cultivation succeeds. It would be nice, when the corals get more color again.
