Diving conditions have been fantastic recently, with many guests discovering the thrill of their very first dive while others explore the rich beauty of our reefs. The excitement is only set to grow as manta season begins here in Lhaviyani Atoll. Soon, we’ll be hearing the unmistakable buzz of returning boats—complete with wide smiles, excited chatter, and plenty of “manta signs” from those lucky enough to meet these graceful giants.

Caring for our natural environment is at the heart of Komandoo, and this month we’ll once again join the global Clean Up the World initiative alongside Prodivers and our guests. While our team removes debris from the beaches every day, mostly plastic carried in by ocean currents, the event is a valuable reminder of why it’s so important to choose sustainable alternatives—something we’re committed to here at the resort.
