As manta season begins here in Lhaviyani Atoll, there’s an extra touch of magic in the air (and the water!). Over the coming weeks, these graceful giants will glide through our nearby reefs to feed and visit their favourite cleaning stations — a mesmerising experience for snorkellers and divers alike. If you’re not yet following us on Facebook or Instagram, now’s the perfect time to do so — we’ll be sharing plenty of incredible manta moments straight from the ocean.

Recently, our team proudly joined Prodivers Maldives for the annual Clean Up the World event. Together with our eco-conscious Champions and guests, we snorkelled through the lagoons to remove debris carried in by ocean currents — helping to preserve the pristine marine environment that makes Komandoo so special. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us in making a difference!

Looking ahead, October brings more reasons to celebrate — from International Chef’s Day on the 20th, where our talented culinary team will showcase their creativity, to a touch of spooky fun at our Halloween celebration later in the month.
