Greetings from sunny Komandoo! July has been a wonderful month here, full of not only sunshine and beach days but of welcoming more and more of you back to our little slice of paradise – for some of you it’s been your first ‘big’ holiday since the pandemic put a stop to travel. We have all enjoyed helping to make your holidays with us special, and the smiles all around tell us your stays were worth waiting for.
Earlier this month, our local community celebrated Eid ul-Adha, one of the holiest holidays of the Islamic calendar, and we would like to wish Eid Mubarak to all our friends and family across the world who celebrated this holy festival. Later this month, on the 26th of July, Maldives Independence Day will celebrate 57 years of independence, and we still have fantastic festive season celebrations to look forward to at the end of the year. We have been very busy planning a wonderful Christmas and New Year and will soon be able to share the plans with you – keep an eye on our blog and social media accounts for sneak previews of what lies ahead.
If you’re eagerly awaiting your holiday at Komandoo, pop over to our App and browse all the amazing adventures and sumptuous array of private dining events you can enjoy once here, you can even pre-book them once you’ve got a confirmed reservation with us. With manta season due to start in September/October, daily sightings of turtles, and an abundance of sharks and rays, there are many exciting encounters to be had for our snorkellers and scuba divers – bucket list ticks await!
Those of you who are still to book should make their way over to our special offers page, where Summer 2022, the upcoming winter season and Summer 2023 all have some very tempting discounts available but don’t leave it too late as bookings are coming in fast with lots of you already taking advantage of the savings.
We very much look forward to seeing you at Komandoo soon.
Sun, Sea & Sand Regards,
