Social Distance in Paradise at Komandoo

At Komandoo Maldives, social distancing has always been the norm (although it was never called that before the Covid-19 pandemic!) – you will never find crowded beaches or queues for restaurants here, there’s so much space that even when the island is ‘full’ you would never really believe it.

Long stretches of white sand and sparkling lagoons await and you’ll never have to book your sunbed or reserve your patch of beach while staying with us. Simply relax and succumb to island life while you listen to the waves gently lapping the shore. Take a stroll and watch the marine life at the edge of the water or from the jetty, sip a cocktail by the pool, enjoy a special dinner at Aqua or gaze at the milky way and make a wish on a shooting star – a holiday at Komandoo is full of the moments like this. For Maldivian adventures a little further afield than a few steps away from your villa, hop on a sunset cruise in search of dolphins, paddle a kayak across the lagoon or go on a snorkelling excursion but be prepared for the fish and turtles to get close – they have no concept of social distancing, they are contiuously flouting the rules but we don’t think you’ll mind too much!

Having reopened our doors on 1st September, we invite you to spend a well-deserved holiday with us at our small boutique resort, safe in the knowledge that your safety is our number one priority. The Covid-19 pandemic has meant that social distancing has become a way of life for many of us but it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy yourself.
